For as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed building and making things from wood.  There is something about watching the progression of a project from raw material to the finished product that brings me great satisfaction.  More than ever though, I loved to build things for my mom...Marion.

With mom in heaven now the joy of building and making things remains and it was a dream of her's and mine to one day sell and share my projects with others.

In honor of my mother, Marion's Crafts has come to life.  My goal is to make unique one of a kind items that you can enjoy for years to come.  Anything that you see on my website can be re-produced allowing time for proper finishing. So please feel free to contact me with any requests whether you see something online or a product is sold and you would like one similar.

Like everything I make, I feel I am giving a second life to something that once was alive. Lights have become a theme to my work, as they represent life to me. When they turn on, they bring good energy to a room. I have a lantern hanging in my house and every night it turns on, I smile...because I know my mom is with me. I am hoping others can find inspiration in the pieces I make and enjoy them for a long time to come.

 

Please note that all products are unique and built by hand.  No piece will be identical, most wood is not purchased in a store, but bought locally from a private live edge lumber suppliers and hand crafted to the final product.  The exception are pen blanks which are purchase from wood project stores.
